The kitchen of my dreams

Dawn and Justin had recently completed a significant extension to their home, but their kitchen had been a work in progress for years. Living with a makeshift kitchen cobbled together by Justin from various mismatched cabinets, they were eager to finally create a space that reflected their style and met their needs. They came to us looking for help in bringing their vision to life.

Knowing they loved the traditional feel of their home, Dawn and Justin wanted to seamlessly integrate that classic aesthetic into their new kitchen design, while also incorporating some modern touches. After exploring various options, they ultimately fell in love with the Jefferson door style, which perfectly captured the balance they were seeking. This door was then finished in a sophisticated Ivory matte paint, adding a touch of warmth and elegance. To complement the cabinetry, they chose cast pewter cup handles and knobs, which provided a beautiful contrast against the Ivory and added a touch of classic charm.

Initially, Dawn and Justin had their hearts set on a solid wood worktop, drawn to its natural beauty and warmth. However, a visit to our quartz manufacturer proved to be a game-changer. They were shown a variety of quartz options, and one particular sample, called "Euphrate," immediately caught their eye. They were captivated by its unique veining and subtle shimmer, realizing it offered the perfect blend of durability, beauty, and a modern edge. It was a modern twist on the classic look they were aiming for.

The result was a stunning kitchen that perfectly blended traditional and modern elements. The Jefferson doors in Ivory matte, combined with the pewter hardware and the striking Euphrate quartz worktop, created a space that felt both timeless and contemporary. The entire process, from design to installation, was carefully managed to ensure every detail was perfect. The transformation was so impactful that even today, Dawn expresses her gratitude, saying, "Again thank you very much for making my dream kitchen a reality. I spend all my time in there now." It's a testament to the power of good design and the joy of creating a space that truly reflects the homeowner's vision.
