Derek & Tilly Lock
Something bigger & something better

The Locks approached us with a vision for transforming their room into a brighter, more inviting space. They were particularly interested in maximizing the room's potential by utilizing the vertical space and exploring options that extended all the way up to the ceiling. After discussing various design ideas and considering their preferences, we collaborated with them to achieve a striking two-tone effect.
For the main cabinetry surround, the Locks chose Farrow & Ball's Treron, a sophisticated and calming grey-green. This colour provided a beautiful backdrop and grounded the space. To complement the Treron and create a focal point, they selected Farrow & Ball's Drop Cloth for the kitchen island. This warm, off-white shade added a touch of softness and created a lovely contrast against the Treron.
To further enhance the overall aesthetic, the Locks opted for a speckled white quartz countertop. The subtle veining in the quartz added visual interest and texture while maintaining a clean and bright feel. Finally, the finishing touches were carefully considered, with bronze cups and knobs selected for the cabinetry hardware. These metallic accents provided a touch of elegance and sophistication, tying the entire design together beautifully.
