Kelsea's journey with us began with a strong recommendation and an uninspiring visit to her local Howdens. She came to us with a clear vision: to preserve the inherent traditional charm of her property while infusing it with a distinctly modern sensibility. It was a delightful challenge – to honour the home's heritage and simultaneously bring it into the contemporary age.

The key to unlocking this balance lay in the selection of the Winslow (Faux In-Frame) kitchen range. This choice proved to be a masterstroke. The Winslow design beautifully captures the timeless aesthetic of traditional in-frame kitchens, with its characteristic detailing and craftsmanship. However, it cleverly integrates this with the clean lines and uncluttered feel that define modern design, offering a sleek and sophisticated finish. The faux in-frame construction provides the visual depth and classic appeal of a traditional kitchen without compromising on the smooth, streamlined look desired in a modern space.

To further enhance the design and add unique character, we introduced bespoke elements. We incorporated custom-sized wall doors, meticulously painted to complement the overall palette. These were then finished with elegant glazing, which not only adds a touch of refinement but also creates a sense of openness and light within the kitchen. This bespoke detailing allowed us to tailor the kitchen precisely to Kelsea's space and personal style, adding layers of depth and visual interest that truly set her kitchen apart. The result is a kitchen that feels both authentically rooted in tradition and refreshingly modern – a perfect reflection of Kelsea's initial vision.

Andy and Shirley envisioned a truly bespoke kitchen that would make a bold statement in their home. They opted for the stunning Strada Gloss style, known for its sleek, handleless design and high-gloss finish. To create a dramatic focal point, they chose Limencello gloss for the back wall, a vibrant shade that instantly drew the eye.

The Limencello was beautifully complemented by a run of base units in Graphite gloss, creating a striking contrast and adding depth to the space. The seamless integration of the two colours accentuated the clean lines and contemporary aesthetic of the Strada Gloss design.

To further enhance the overall look, they selected solid white worktops that flowed seamlessly down to the floor. The white surfaces not only added a touch of brightness but also provided a striking contrast to the darker cabinetry, creating a visually appealing balance.

The result was a truly bespoke kitchen that exuded elegance, sophistication, and a touch of drama. The combination of the Limencello back wall, Graphite base units, and white worktops created a stunning visual impact that perfectly reflected Andy and Shirley's unique style and taste.

The Locks approached us with a vision for transforming their room into a brighter, more inviting space. They were particularly interested in maximizing the room's potential by utilizing the vertical space and exploring options that extended all the way up to the ceiling. After discussing various design ideas and considering their preferences, we collaborated with them to achieve a striking two-tone effect.

For the main cabinetry surround, the Locks chose Farrow & Ball's Treron, a sophisticated and calming grey-green. This colour provided a beautiful backdrop and grounded the space. To complement the Treron and create a focal point, they selected Farrow & Ball's Drop Cloth for the kitchen island. This warm, off-white shade added a touch of softness and created a lovely contrast against the Treron.

To further enhance the overall aesthetic, the Locks opted for a speckled white quartz countertop. The subtle veining in the quartz added visual interest and texture while maintaining a clean and bright feel. Finally, the finishing touches were carefully considered, with bronze cups and knobs selected for the cabinetry hardware. These metallic accents provided a touch of elegance and sophistication, tying the entire design together beautifully.

Dawn and Justin had recently completed a significant extension to their home, but their kitchen had been a work in progress for years. Living with a makeshift kitchen cobbled together by Justin from various mismatched cabinets, they were eager to finally create a space that reflected their style and met their needs. They came to us looking for help in bringing their vision to life.

Knowing they loved the traditional feel of their home, Dawn and Justin wanted to seamlessly integrate that classic aesthetic into their new kitchen design, while also incorporating some modern touches. After exploring various options, they ultimately fell in love with the Jefferson door style, which perfectly captured the balance they were seeking. This door was then finished in a sophisticated Ivory matte paint, adding a touch of warmth and elegance. To complement the cabinetry, they chose cast pewter cup handles and knobs, which provided a beautiful contrast against the Ivory and added a touch of classic charm.

Initially, Dawn and Justin had their hearts set on a solid wood worktop, drawn to its natural beauty and warmth. However, a visit to our quartz manufacturer proved to be a game-changer. They were shown a variety of quartz options, and one particular sample, called "Euphrate," immediately caught their eye. They were captivated by its unique veining and subtle shimmer, realizing it offered the perfect blend of durability, beauty, and a modern edge. It was a modern twist on the classic look they were aiming for.

The result was a stunning kitchen that perfectly blended traditional and modern elements. The Jefferson doors in Ivory matte, combined with the pewter hardware and the striking Euphrate quartz worktop, created a space that felt both timeless and contemporary. The entire process, from design to installation, was carefully managed to ensure every detail was perfect. The transformation was so impactful that even today, Dawn expresses her gratitude, saying, "Again thank you very much for making my dream kitchen a reality. I spend all my time in there now." It's a testament to the power of good design and the joy of creating a space that truly reflects the homeowner's vision.
